I question your sincerity, but the existing films have a [loose] ending, and
I think it's obvious the Wachowski Brothers didn't intend to continue the
story except through interactive media like video games. Plus, the negative
critical and popular reaction the the sequels and the diminishing box office
return preclude a fourth film.

Personally, I don't think I want any more films. I'd like some anime,
and I *really* want some 'expanded universe' style novels, but I think
the trilogy as it stands is all that we need film-wise. I'm increasingly
thinking of the films as a starting point for the rest of the media
(potentially) available.

Of course, I'll probably be lining up for "Episode I: The Birth Of The
Architect" in 2021...

Of course, I'll probably be lining up for "Episode I: The Birth Of The

They need to just do a hybrid film that incorporates part of HG Wells' War
of the Worlds, The Terminator, and The Matrix film (throw in any other great
stories or films that tie in will) in about 15-20 years. It could be a
sequel to the Tom Cruise War of the Worlds film, a prequel to the current
Matrix films, and we could consider it the fourth Terminator film...

Yes. There's not.

I don't know if there is a plan. But I think they might think of making
a film based on developed storyline in MxO. And I personally believe
that Matrix universe should not be mixed up with anything else (like
Terminator or W.o.t.W.), it has got its own thing. I even think that
the plot is so strong, that if treated well, there can be three
successful trilogies, or at least two... and I think they are capable
of it. Hey..! I have a new topic in mind...
